Ceremonies

Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, March 13th, 2026, and will include: the parade of athletes divided by nation, the official international greetings, a short performance by a guest artist, and the lighting of the torch. If weather conditions allow, the ceremony will take place at the Roman Theatre; in case of rain, it will be held at the Teatro Manzoni. The program is still subject to change.

Medal Ceremonies

The Medal Ceremonies will take place in a dedicated area along the race course, with the stunning Abbey of Montecassino as a backdrop.

Closing Ceremony & Closing Party

The Closing Ceremony will take place at the Roman Theatre; in case of rain, it will be held at the Teatro Manzoni. There will be a closing party organised by the OC. The program is still subject to change.
